Amonkhet Remastered is coming to MTG Arena this week on August 13, adding the set-defining 339 cards and iconic mechanics from Amonkhet and Hour of Devastation. It has a focus on the Limited play experience (Draft and Sealed), Pioneer (soon to come), and continued support for Historic. Forbes continues with the previews, revealing Sphinx's Revelation, Lord of Extinction, Perilous Vault and the rest of the Multicolor, Artifact, and Land cards to be included in the set!
Our favorite control card is back, having said farewell to Teferi, Time Raveler, let’s see if Sphinx's Revelation can revive the control archetype! Wilderness Reclamation can stay banned however, as it would be quite absurd with both of them together…
Lord of Extinction is a cool inclusion for Historic Brawl.
It’s no Oblivion Stone, and we even have Ugin, the Spirit Dragon for a similar effect and less mana overall so it’s hard to be excited by this card for constructed. Could just be another unconditional sweeper effect for Historic Brawl, I suppose!
Here are all the other Multicolor, Artifact and Land cards in the set, confirmed by the pre-patch data. The Gods, the three Planeswalkers and the Cyling lands all make their way into the set, so there’s plenty here to get us excited. You can also view the complete card gallery in our dedicated section!
