Deck Overview

Mono White Aggro (or White Weenies) in MTG Arena War of the Spark Standard is a collection of cheap White creatures that swarm the enemy quickly. The deck has been a strong contender in the last few standard seasons due to its consistency and a slower metagame.

In War of the Spark it received Law-Rune Enforcer and Gideon Blackblade, which fit the strategy of the deck very well.

Deck Strategy

Card Choices

The deck has been mainly solved, and there is only a small room for innovation. Some players have been adding a single copy of [c]Tomik, Distinguished Advokist[/c] in the main instead of one copy of Adanto Vanguard, and some in the sideboard as well to combat decks with [c]Nissa, Who Shakes the World[/c].

Gideon Blackblade can be included in the main, which is difficult for Esper decks to deal with. Cards like Snubhorn Sentry and Conclave Tribunal can be cut in their place.

Azorius Aggro uses the same core of the deck that splashes Blue to include cards like Teferi, Time Raveler, Deputy of Detention, and counterspells in the deck. This may sacrifice a bit of consistency but provides improves matchups against midrange decks. Please see the corresponding section for more information.

Another trend is adding the Mono Red Aggro power card [c]Experimental Frenzy[/c] in the deck. Adding 8 Red mana sources and 3-4 copies of Experimental Frenzy in the main and/or the sideboard. The card on its own can out value Planeswalker decks such as the currently popular Esper variants.
