Throne of Eldraine Set Guide | Throne of Eldraine Set Spoilers

Back in July, we had already reported that the Brawl format is coming to MTG Arena and we knew about how Wizards were planning to support the format in Throne of Eldraine with a supplemental product. For now, you can read up more about what the Brawl format is all about here, as we are writing up an article about it to come soon!

Well, we did not anticipate for it to come this soon to MTG Arena with today’s 0.18.00.00 update (click here for full patch notes) – in the form of MTG Arena in-game event Eldraine Courtside Brawl! Starting today until September 9, we are able to test the waters with the four Brawl Decks to be released with Throne of Eldraine, and earn card rewards in the process. Check out the event page for more details.

Chulane, Teller of Tales and Arcane Signet was spoiled earlier on, but now all the decklists are out. That also means you get to find out what all the cards are in each of these decklists – mostly specifically to the Brawl Decks. You can see them in full in MTG Arena (except for a few select cards – which we talk more about below), or if you do not have access to it yet, check out the decklists and spoilers below along with their descriptions from the Daily MTG article.

There is one tidbit of additional information that we must include here though before we delve any further. We presumed that this supplementary products would function similarly to the Planeswalker decks – whereby you can get a copy of the cards in MTG Arena by redeeming the code included in the deck. Please see below – we can craft the cards using Wildcards, but cannot obtain these through purchasing the physical product.

Will the tabletop Brawl decks include codes for MTG Arena like the Planeswalker decks?
The tabletop Brawl decks will not include a code for MTG Arena.

How do I add the 20 unique Brawl cards to my collection?
You’ll be able to craft any of the unique Brawl cards using Wildcards – including the four that were swapped for this event. Please note that just like the Planeswalker decks, these unique cards will not appear in booster packs or as individual card rewards, but they are all Standard legal!

A “Spikier” deck that has less synergy but a higher power level. We wanted to use the new Adventure mechanic from Throne of Eldraine, so this deck is about ramping, casting lots of creatures and spells, and rebuying your creatures to get multiple uses out of them.
