Top Standard Mythic Ladder Decks – Throne of Eldraine Season 1 – Week 4

Welcome to our first weekly roundup of Standard decks players are using to climb the ranked ladder on MTG Arena! Our goal is to curate and post a variety of deck archetypes and interesting card choices (rather than your typical meta decks) at the end of each week. The principle is similar to the MTGO Standard League decks we post every few days. There can also be a lot to learn from these decks as they can be more fluid and relevant than tournament lists. Major shoutout to @ArenaDecklists that makes all the information sharing possible and their work on the Magic: The Gathering community in general.

As of writing this article, we have just a bit over a day until the end of the season – so whether you are doing a last minute climb or looking for some decks to try at the beginning of the next season, we have them here! If you have any decks you wish to be featured, please tweet us at @mtgazone or give us a shout at our – we would love to hear from you.

The Standard metagame is largely settled after the banning of Field of the Dead, as shown by the results from the Mythic Championship VII Qualifier. It looks like players may have to wait for any further announcement is made on November 18, or a big meta shift miraculously happens in the meantime with the innovation of new deck archetypes (similar to Kethis Combo from last Standard). To demonstrate the state of the current meta, we are even beginning to see maindeck Veil of Summer – together with Noxious Grasp – to counter the counter strategies! A true standout from all this is probably the Azorius Control deck that has a good chance against Oko.

Check out our Standard Metagame Tier List to see all the current meta decks!

Kinda fun that your Divine visitation deck list doesn’t have Divine visitation anywhere in it.
