Description

Hey guys! I recently hit rank #1 in the first day of the August, having 77% winrate from the bottom of Platinum ranks. I messed around with Altheriax’s Cabaretti Revels decks and ended up with this monster. It\\’s able to kill on turn 3 in multiple ways and does it quite often. First is already a basic turn 2 Racketeer, Turn 3 Ingus and go, the other one is Turn 1 Goblin trapmaster, Turn 2 sac it with deadly dispute and if you catch Birgi or Ignus of the goblin, and have the other one in hand, you can go both of them on Turn 3 using the treasure token. Of course you must have grapeshot in hand for both plays, but, hey, we play 4 of those. Talisman is good in this deck, like it never felt before: you can go turn 2 Talisman, Turn 3 sac for racketeer or Ignus, whoever you miss in your hand, and then you can cast racketeer on the same turn to pump Ignus for next turn win. Moreover, you can go Turn 2 Talisman, Turn 3 sac it with Deadly Dispute in response to it\\’s trigger, and there you go – get a treasure, draw two cards and only then tutor whatever you miss for the combo without giving Talisman to the opponent. Claim the firstborn is Sooo good in Bo1 metagame, creatures in every matchup, even in a long game agains control you can steal their Sharks and Emperor tokens to sac them or swing their walkers, and sometimes even lethal damage with a help of grapeshot or two. And it\\’s such a special feeling to steal Arcanist and attack with it, casting Village rites from your graveyard targeting himself. Thoughtseize and Assasin\\’s Trophy are just singletons for Talisman, can be helpful, against counterspell, or sneaky permanent not letting us to combo off. Mana base in my list is not ideal, and i\\’m not really sure how to make it better, cos the deck is mostly Black and Red, Green is just 5 cards, but you have to be able to play Racketeer on turn 2, so i kinda play a lot of green mana sources, would appreciate some help in the comments with it.
