Here are some quick tips: 

• Know what\’s in the top decks in the meta: https://mtgmeta.io/
• Aim to cast your spells on your opponent\’s turn. Preferably you want to cast Hullbreaker Horror on their end step.
• Play lands every turn. Neglect the above rule if you need to Behold the Multiverse to get your land drop for the turn.
• Prioritize getting 2 black lands first, 2 blue lands and finally 1 white land. (White\’s only needed for Path of Peril)
• You can Divide by Zero your Meathook to recast it.
• Don\’t play Lier right away, play him with mana to spare for a Fading Hope, Divide by Zero, or a Counterspell so that you can save him.
• If Hullbreaker is targeted with a removal spell you can bounce itself back to your hand in response to save it.
