Orzhov Life Drain Loop

I\’ve been playing and modifying this deck as I go and it\’s been a lot of fun. It could still use some work. The basic idea is that you set the stage with creatures like Lunarch Veteran so that other creatures entering the battlefield gives you life. Then you get Marauding Blight-Priest and Attended Healer doing their things together, which gives you a lot of life and takes a lot of life from your opponent. There are a couple ways of making this all happen on your opponent\’s turn as well, the primary means being Curse of Leeches. I thought about including Revitalize for this purpose and card draw but I took it out so focus on the essentials. Feign Death is also good for chump blocking while also setting the process in motion. I included Blood Beckoning because having the proper creatures on the battlefield is essential. Liesa (the only non-cleric creature aside from the cat tokens) also serves as a sort of removal insurance.

All in all it\’s kinda jank in some ways but I\’ve also survived from brutal matchups with aggro decks just by gaining life and having lots of cat tokens. I\’ve actually recovered from a couple games where I was boardwiped more than once. It has a lot of weaknesses and it\’s a work in progress, but I think it wins a lot because people don\’t see it coming. I enjoy playing it and I\’ll keep working on it.
