Angels are still explosive and able to steal games.  The version I settled on this season went back to white with the green splash for CoCo.  Dropped Soul Warden for Scroll of Avacyn.  While this might slow the deck down a bit occasionally, the scroll is much harder for most decks to interact with.  For Bo1, I changed Skyclave Apparition for Brutal Cathar.  Cathar hits better creature targets and has a semi-repeatable effect.

Book of Exalted Deeds does work and works well, particularly against the scourges of elves and goblins. Might need to go up to two.  Most builds simply have no way to interact. A lot of the Azorious Auras builds as well can do nothing about it except deck themselves.

Segovian Angel isn\’t a powerhouse but does help trigger lifegain and is a target for BoED.

Cave of the Frost Dragon also gives this deck a little more oomph as well.  Lair of the Hydra could also be acceptable.

I originally tried a build without Ajani but a couple of top-end Angels, particularly Sephara. With Segovian Angel, it\’s easier to get the fliers out for a possible T3 Sephara.  The problem is it doesn\’t really help in the mirror and there are way more exile effects in Historic now.  Ajani just seems like a must.
