The August 2020 Ranked Season has begun, running from July 31, 12:05 PT (20:05 UTC) through to August 31 at 12:00 PT (19:00 UTC) and we have all the details for you below. There is the release of Amonkhet Remastered to look forward to on August 13 to shake up the Historic format, with Zendikar Rising a bit further out in September 17 to accompany Standard rotation. Will we see any further suspensions and bans during this time to keep the powerful mana accelerators like Wilderness Reclamation in check? Or will we see innovations such as Mono Black Aggro from last season sweep up the ladder and tournament scene?
Finishing in the top 1200 Mythic ranked players in the June, July and August 2020 season will feed into the same September 2020 Zendikar Rising Qualifier Weekend, so this month will be your last chance to do so if you have not qualified already. If you are not sure of your final placement, you should see a badge in your profile and the results of the July 2020 season should be emailed out by Wizards in the next few days.

Card Style Rewards
The card style rewards for August 2020 Ranked Season are Pestilent Haze and Speaker of the Heavens for reaching Gold and Platinum rank, respectively.
Players will receive their rewards for August 2020 season at the start of the next ranked season (August 31, 12:05 PT/19:05 UTC). You must have played at least one ranked game in the respective format to receive seasonal rewards.
Platinum: 3 Core Set 2021 booster packs + 1000 gold + Speaker of the Heavens Card Style
Diamond: 4 Core Set 2021 booster packs + 1000 gold
Mythic: 5 Core Set 2021 booster packs + 1000 gold
As a general reminder, card styles are a cosmetic option only and does not add any cards to a player’s collection. There is no benefit to acquiring a card style more than once; if you achieve Gold Rank or higher in both Limited and Constructed, you will only receive one copy of the card style.
