Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming Standard expansion Bloomburrow, is set to be released to MTG Arena on July 30, 2024 and worldwide tabletop release on August 2, 2024. Following a major leak of the alternate art card that features Jace as a “What If” version of a fox, more leaks have surfaced of the Ral as an otter (card art previously revealed), another White uncommon, and a Gaea's Cradle for creature types. Let’s find out!
Bloomburrow Promotional Poster
Bloomburrow promotions are already happening around local game stores, such as the poster below and a playmat that shows the featured creature types of the set.
Now the juicy leak featuring Ral – as tradition, in a highly bad quality image, but the source seems to be consistently correct so far from Modern Horizons 3, Assassin’s Creed, and other recent sets. Although the card has storm, a game ending Emblem such as this one should not feature as a major mechanic of the set.
Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a loyalty counter on Ral, Crackling Wit.
+1: Creature a 1/1 blue and red Otter creature token with prowess.
-3: Draw three cards, then discard two cards.
-10: Draw three cards. You get an emblem with “Instant and sorcery spells you cast have storm.” (Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn.)
Gift a tapped Fish (You may promise an opponent a gift as you cast this spell. If you do, they create a tapped 1/1 blue Fish creature token before its other effects.)
Exile target nontoken creature. If the gift wasn’t promised, return that creature to the battlefield under its owner’s control with a +1/+1 counter on it at the beginning of the next end step.
Three Tree City
A mass mana producer for the set that looks at creature types,. similar to Gaea's Cradle, but it can still add mana without anything!
Three Tree City
Legendary Land
{T}: Add {T}.
{2}. {T}: Choose a color. Add an amount of mana of that color equal to the number of creatures you control of the chosen type.
