First deck to take a look at is Explorer Abzan Elves by sandstorm846!

This deck is all about elves and swarming the board with them! One of the iconic abilities of elves is that they are able to ramp themselves and go wide very quickly.

The one drops mostly include ramp in the form of cards like Llanowar Elves or Elvish Mystic where both of them ramp you into your more expensive cards. The 2 and 3 mana slots is where the deck starts to get their boardstate ready to start reducing the opponents life total. They include cards like Leaf-Crowned Visionary which will make your wide board bigger, Dwynen's Elite or Elvish Warmaster where both of them let you put more permanents onto the battlefield, Shaman of the Pack which is able to finish the opponent with a huge life loss effect and Werefox Bodyguard which is able to remove some problematic blockers.

Casting your creatures is one way of getting them onto the battlefield, but you also got cards like Collected Company which lets you put 2 creatures onto the battlefield from a single card and Chord of Calling which lets you tutor any creature card that you might possibly need straight onto the battlefield!

The second deck to take a look at is also Abzan but instead from standard and its Abzan Legends by NobleMurloc!

Compared to Esper Legends, this deck ditches blue so instead it can get some powerful abilities from legendary creatures that include green in their mana costs! Being centered around legends means that it plays a ton of them and its the main way of closing the game out. Lets begin at the start of the curve and they already include some really strong legends like Melira, the Living Cure, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben or Armored Scrapgorger where all of them have really strong abilities for only 2 mana invested.

Moving up the curve we get to even stronger cards like Glissa Sunslayer which can generate value every single turn, Thalia and The Gitrog Monster which is also able to generate a lot of value every turn while also taxing the opponent and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse which is one of the strongest cards in the entire format.

The deck being around creatures means that they need to connect, and that can sometimes be hard when the opponent also presents their own powerful threats. And for that reason you got removal in the form of Go for the Throat and Virtue of Persistence so you can get the board clear and you also got Virtue of Loyalty which can make your team way bigger than the one on the opponent side of the battlefield.

The next deck to cover is Historic Gruul Hardened Scales!

This deck is centered all around artifacts and abusing +1/+1 counters with them! Lets start of with the enablers which are basically the reason that this deck is able to do most of its strongest plays and those are Hardened Scales and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. Both of these cards let you put more counters on permanents than you would normally be able to which is huge for this deck. And now lets get into the cards that let you abuse these effects! Furthermore, they include a lot of artifact creatures like Hangarback Walker, Zabaz, the Glimmerwasp, Steel Overseer or Patchwork Automaton.

As you can see, all of them interact with counters in some way, and if you combine them with the above mentioned effects that let you essentially double them, you get yourself a boardstate that is easily able to spiral out of control with huge threats thanks to the above mentioned cards like Steel Overseer or Patchwork Automaton but also Voldaren Thrillseeker which lets you fling your creatures at the opponent.

The above mentioned cards are the main way of winning the game, but you also got some other support cards like Animation Module which lets you create a lot of tokens, The Ozolith which can save counters from your threats and Agatha's Soul Cauldron which lets you do a lot of interesting shenanigans with sharing abilities of your creatures.

Scales is a really fun but also complex deck that i recommend trying it you ever start to get bored in the format!

And the last deck to cover are Historic Dimir Ninjas by Vottoast!

This deck is all centered around combat tricks and ninjas! The threat package could be separated into two big groups of enablers and payoffs. Lets start with the enablers and they include cheap and evasive cards like Ornithopter or Changeling Outcast which their only purpose is to swing out and be left unblocked.

You want that because most of your payoffs have the Ninjitsu mechanic, and that lets you put a creature onto the battlefield tapped and attacking instead of an unblocked creature that you have on the battlefield which will most likely be the above mentioned enablers. These threats can include cards like A-Silver-Fur Master, A-Moon-Circuit Hacker or A-Thousand-Faced Shadow where all of them have the Ninjitsu ability which lets you sneak them in tapped and attacking with some powerful abilities and sometimes even for a reduced cost!

As most decks, you also got some cards to support their core gameplan and in this deck its removal in the form of Fatal Push, counterspell in the form of Spell Pierce and Retrofitter Foundry which is an interesting card that in this deck lets you create a 4/4 if you got an Ornithopter or Changeling Outcast to sacrifice since both of them are Thopters. And to top it all off you also got a companion in the form of Lurrus of the Dream-Den!
