Notable Bug Fixes
Fixed a collation bug that could result in Retro Artifacts cards from Brothers’ War packs not respecting duplicate protection
We will be sending Inbox Messages next week to all players who lost our on Retro Artifacts cards due to this bug with replacement rares/mythics
Fixed a collation bug that could result in players getting only one card from Brothers’ War in their Golden Packs (they would still receive another duplicate-protected rare from Standard)
We were registering gameplay loops in some scenarios where players could absolutely take different actions. We’ve made the loop detector a little better at recognizing those situations.
Several years ago, as part of a limited-time promotion, players were able to obtain card sleeves depicting certain country-specific flags for use in MTG Arena. We feel that this has impacted some players’ ability to enjoy the game. As such, we will soon be restricting how the country-specific cards sleeves appear in game
Players who previously acquired these sleeves will still see them in their collection and may still apply them to decks.
During matches, only the player who has these card sleeves applied will see them on their deck; it will appear as the default card back to opponents.
Players already have or soon will receive 300 gems per flag card sleeve in their collection when this change goes live, regardless of how they originally obtained the sleeve/s.
Furthermore, we currently have no plans to make these sleeves available again in-game or through regional promotions.
The Play Blade icons have given birth to little text labels for your reading enjoyment.
The post match happy/sad survey returns! The quick survey is back and sometimes appears after a match to let you tell us how you felt about it. And remember, this is for science, so please, be honest.
We have solved the problems preventing the Matt Jukes lands from working properly. The bundle is now back, and we have performed a mass grant to deliver the lands to prior purchasers.
