MTG Arena August 2022 Ranked Season

The August 2022 Ranked Season on MTG Arena starts July 31, 12:05 p.m. PT (19:05 UTC), and ends August 31, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. PT (19:00 UTC)

Top 250 Mythic-ranked players in Constructed or Limited at the end of this season will be eligible to compete in the September 17–18 Qualifier Weekend.

August 2022 Season Rewards

Players will receive their rewards for the August 2022 season at the start of the September 2022 Ranked Season (12:05 p.m. PT on August 31).

You must have played at least one ranked game in the respective format to receive seasonal rewards.

• Bronze Reward: 1 Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate pack
• Silver Reward: 1 Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate pack + 500 gold
• Gold Reward: 2 Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate packs + 1,000 gold + Ambition's Cost card style
• Platinum Reward: 3 Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate packs + 1,000 gold + Ambition's Cost card style + Thayan Evokers card style
• Diamond Reward: 4 Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate packs + 1,000 gold + Ambition's Cost card style + Thayan Evokers card style
• Mythic Reward: 5 Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate packs + 1,000 gold + Ambition's Cost card style + Thayan Evokers card style

As a reminder, card styles are a cosmetic option only and do not add any cards to a player’s collection. There is no benefit to acquiring a card style more than once; if you achieve Gold Rank or higher in both Limited and Constructed, you will only receive one copy of the card style.

Qualifier Weekend Invitation

Players who finish in the top 250 of Mythic-ranked competitors will qualify to participate in the Qualifier Weekend shown below. Matches that finish prior to 12:00 p.m. PT on August 31, 2022, will count toward final season ranking for August, which determine invitations to the September Qualifier Weekend.

Qualifier Play-Ins

Players can earn the Qualifier Token for entry to a Qualifier Weekend by reaching maximum wins in a single course of a Play-In event that feeds that Qualifier Weekend.

There are typically two Qualifier Play-Ins each month:

• A Best-of-One event is held on Saturday, seven days before Qualifier Weekend.
• A Best-of-Three event is held on Friday, the day before Qualifier Weekend.

Entry Window

Each Qualifier Weekend event day has a specific two-hour entry window—late entries cannot be accommodated.

The entry window is between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Pacific time. For the August through September events, in other time zones this translates to:

• 9:00-11:00 a.m. ET
• 13:00-15:00 UTC
• 15:00-17:00 CEST
• 22:00-midnight next day Japan time

Seasonal Reset

Constructed and Limited ranks will be reset. Your new rank will be based on your end-of-season rank from the previous season:
