Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate Leaks Part 1

Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Leaks Part 1

Streets of New Capenna spoilers have barely ended, and many cards from the upcoming Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate (release date June 10, 2022) have been leaked!

Official spoilers start on May 16 but the source of the leak has released videos of them opening Collector Boosters on TikTok. You can find the contents of each video below, and check out the new cards and mechanics:

Source

Since April 14, TikTok user WavyTsuchikage released a total of four videos of them opening Collector Booster packs from this Dungeons & Dragons crossover set. According to their comments on the videos, they claimed to have got them from a friend that works at a card producing company. The source also states that they only started playing Magic: The Gathering, and is primarily a Yu-Gi-Oh! player.

This standalone set has been designed for limited play (sealed and draft) and will be legal in constructed Eternal formats such as Legacy, Pauper, Vintage, and (most importantly) Commander (EDH).

While this paper product release is not directly applicable to MTG Arena, Wizards of the Coast have already announced that Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate (meaning that it will be Alchemy and Historic legal) will be released some time on July 2022: “bringing hundreds of new cards to MTG Arena and launching with everything you’ve come to expect from full set releases—including a Set Mastery, Draft gameplay modes, and more.”

While we don’t yet know what the MTG Arena set exactly consists of, they also stated that some cards from the set will be included, modified to balance them for 1v1 play. As customary with Alchemy sets, even all new-digital cards can be expected from this release.

Below we will show all the cards in the order they are revealed in the first video:

@wavytsuchikage Ima yugioh player not a magic player i just stared playing so if i pulled something crazy let me know😬 @Pack Guy #magicthegathering #mtgtiktok #tradingcards #packopening #mtg #mtgcommander #dungeonsanddragons #battleforbaldursgate #commanderlegends ♬ Lo-fi hip hop – NAO-K

Before you view the cards, remember: These are unofficial, unconfirmed leaks from a third party source so view at your own risk!
