No matter the format, you better believe a Monowhite deck will be possible in it. We have plenty of strong options at every point of the curve and a surprising amount of interaction for a Monowhite deck!

Like Monowhite, Monored can functionally always exist in any format. Per usual, it has plenty of removal and cheap creatures, but it also has extremely powerful threats like Chandra, Dressed to Kill and Manaform Hellkite to decimate the opponent.

Crimson Vow Constructed Monogreen Aggro

The curve is quite good for Monogreen, but the card quality does vary at certain points in the curve. Nevertheless, it’s hard to go wrong with pile of strong creatures.

Since Vampires were the flagship tribe of the set so it makes sense we build them here! There’s obviously plenty of synergy here as well as solid removal to back up those threats.

Another heavily supported in Crimson Vow, Spirits has a solid amount of support and despite the curve being really low, we have plenty of mid game grind with Disturb abilities.

The finally Tribal list of the article, Gruul is mostly a Werewolves deck but we make room for the very powerful Halana and Alena, Partners and ramp with Reclusive Taxidermist.

The first of the two Control decks, Orzhov has an excess of removal and a 6 mana board wipe to back up our win conditions like Faithbound Judge or Edgar, Charmed Groom.

The final deck of the list, Izzet Control has a surplus of cheap interaction to help the insanely powerful Hullbreaker Horror be even more unbeatable than normal.

My Top Picks

Jacob Hauken, Inspector Art by Aurore Folny

All these decks should be viable, but if you want the very best options, here’s what I’d recommend.

  1. Gruul Werewolves
  2. Mono Red Aggro
  3. Izzet Control
  4. Mono White Aggro
  5. Orzhov Control

  1. Zafarion says:

I’ve done two 4-1 runs with BW vamps. I guess it’s better than BR due to welcoming vampire, Edgar and By Invitation only. People play mostly aggro in these events and a wrath can change the outcome, even if killing you own creatures if you have a lot of card advantage (welcoming vampire). The Vampires Vengeance’s wrath is almost useless in this event.

  2. HillPhelmuth says:

24-0 with a Rakdos Vampires deck that’s very similar to your list. Nicely done.

  3. racegun says:

I love these events. I have been playing orzhov control and been having a great time. It has been real good against the aggro decks and decent everywhere else. In my experience, the judge enchantment has been the best win con. Killing an enchantment is real difficult and it’s not hard for me to stall for a couple turns to win.
