Hey everyone! Before we get to The Hobbit set, we have one more Midweek Magic stop to make with a Marvel Super Heroes bot draft. It’s always great when they run these because there’s nothing better than a free Limited event. You might not get to keep the cards, but it’s a fantastic opportunity for newer players to give drafting a try.
As usual, the format is long since solved by the time they hand us one of these. Heaven forbid we have a free draft while the information is still relevant. That would be like taking Richard Garfield’s name in vain.
There’s already so much content out there that it’d be pointless to rehash everything here. The biggest takeaway is that, while all ten archetypes are playable, Azorius is the clear deck to beat. Unless you open some absolutely absurd rares, I’d recommend forcing that lane whenever possible. And if you do open those absurd rares…you can probably just splash them.
I’ll leave you with the event details, and then I’m out of here.
