Future Alchemy All Access – Midweek Magic Event Guide and Decklists

This guide will contain everything you need to know about the Midweek Magic: Future Alchemy All Access event, including rewards and our exclusive sample decklists.

Hello everyone! This week’s Midweek Magic is Future Alchemy All Access! This is a pre-emptive glimpse into what Alchemy might look like after the Standard rotation which should be a fun and interesting experience! Even better, the event is All Access, so you can use any cards you don’t have in your collection!

Players can enter the event for free, win some free Rare Individual Card Rewards (ICRs) and a random cosmetic item on the third win. Below is everything you need to know about the event as well as the list of decks you can use for this event.


Event Details

Welcome to Midweek Magic! Each week, try out a different way to play MTG Arena!

Get a jump on next year’s format! Bring a 60-card deck using only cards from the last year of Alchemy, starting with Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, whether they’re in your collection or not!

Currently the best Control deck in Alchemy, while we do lose Magma Opus, we keep Snowborn Simulacra so you can continue creating unassailable positions with your Hinata early in the game!

  1. For Esper midrange, I think 12 slow lands are to many. On the play in the first couple turns you have 20 lands coming in to play tapped, that doesn’t work vs aggro. Additionally you can’t use slow lands to specialise, basic lands are useful there too.

    Also you might be underrating Lae’zel, it’s crazy strong and it’s very easy to spec black and get back a removed Diviner from turn 5 on.

    Another very good option is Viconia. For 6 mana and a blue discard you get a 3/4 body and a creature plus a sorcery/instant from either graveyards copied so even if the opponent doesn’t have useful stuff you can reuse your own. Plus graveyard hate is still useful (like in the mirror matches) and you can keep exiling cards after speccing her.
