Future Alchemy All Access – Midweek Magic Event Guide and Decklists

Hello everyone! This week’s Midweek Magic is Future Alchemy All Access! This is a pre-emptive glimpse into what Alchemy might look like after the Standard rotation which should be a fun and interesting experience! Even better, the event is All Access, so you can use any cards you don’t have in your collection!

Players can enter the event for free, win some free Rare Individual Card Rewards (ICRs) and a random cosmetic item on the third win. Below is everything you need to know about the event as well as the list of decks you can use for this event.

Welcome to Midweek Magic! Each week, try out a different way to play MTG Arena!

Get a jump on next year’s format! Bring a 60-card deck using only cards from the last year of Alchemy, starting with Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, whether they’re in your collection or not!

Future Alchemy Decklists (August 2022)

Currently we have 8 Future Alchemy decks to get you started for the event! After you grab your wins with the decks below, this is also a perfect opportunity to play with cards you always wanted to try out, as the Alchemy format had a lot of accessibility issues.

If you’re unsure what deck to play, Mono White is always a great option. With a brutal curve and great threats, you can easily get under any opponent.

If you’re trying to get the opponent dead as fast as possible, it’s hard to go wrong with Mono Red! With a brutal curve, you’re going to put any opponent to the test.

With a great curve and powerful threats, Mono Green has the tools it needs to be both fast and powerful.

If you want to lock your creature opponents out of the game, there’s no better way to do that than with Azorius Control!

One of the current best Alchemy decks, Rakdos Anvil has the tools to grind out any opponent no matter the strategy.

Despite this being just a Standard deck as well, Selesnya Enchantments is a synergistic powerhouse that will give any deck a tough time whether it’s strong early game or grindy late game.

One of the current kings of Alchemy, Esper Midrange has insanely powerful threats and interaction to simply overwhelm the opponent with card quality.

Currently the best Control deck in Alchemy, while we do lose Magma Opus, we keep Snowborn Simulacra so you can continue creating unassailable positions with your Hinata early in the game!
