The inevitable has been announced – Wizards of the Coast has confirmed the largest Universes Beyond collaboration to date: The Marvel franchise! Despite another Disney card game currently making its foothold in the card game market (Lorcana), Magic will be producing Marvel superhero cards starting 2025.
A press release from Wizards of the Coast has also confirmed that multiple Marvel “tentpole” sets will be released, which means there will be a full set (potentially even Standard and on MTG Arena) and has satellite products like Commander decks. With literally hundreds of different superheroes in the Marvel franchise, it looks like there will be no shortage of card ideas.
Of course, there is another Marvel card game currently – Marvel Snap that you can also play on PC and mobile.
