Murders at Karlov Manor Constructed – Midweek Magic Event Guide and Best Decklists
This guide will contain everything you need to know about the Midweek Magic: Murders at Karlov Manor Constructed event, including rewards and our exclusive sample decklists.
Hey everyone! I have returned, once again, to drop your Midweek Magic fix for you. This week we are going to be playing Murders at Karlov Manor Constructed. I’m assuming that means it only includes cards from the base set while excluding The List and Special Guests. Sorry, no Show and Tell shenanigans for you.
I just got back from the State Fair which means that I am full of all kinds of strange fried food that God never intended to exist. Hopefully I’ll get this up before the inevitable food coma kicks in. Yeah, yeah, we’re almost to the deck lists…

Welcome to Midweek Magic! Each week, try out a different way to play MTG Arena!
There are a ton of fun rares (depending on one’s definition of fun) in Boros to smash the face with. You even get to play with Lightning Helix, what could go wrong?
We all know that MWM is filled with creature decks. This is a great way to make sure that anyone who is employing that strategy is going to be miserable when they play against you. If you choose this route (and let’s be honest, I will), we know exactly what type of person you are.
This strategy is always a thing in these niche formats because it is so well supported every set. Anyone who has drafted MKM is well aware of exactly how good it is this time around. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
What would a game of Clue be without a pile of detective trying to bumble their way to solving the case (or in this “case” win the game). More of a theme deck then necessarily a good one, but it can still get there. Do with that as you will.
It’s kind of hard to build a deck with only commons and uncommons when you are limited to one set. You know the plan here, catch someone slipping and go underneath them.
You only need to have four Slime Against Humanity to be able to add as many of them as you want to your deck. That makes this probably one of the cheapest options we’ve had in awhile. Just watch out for Deadly Cover-Up exiling your entire deck.
