First deck to take a look at is a combo deck and its Alchemy Golgari Confectioner Took Combo by Altheriax!

This deck is all about food tokens and using them to your best advantage including the game winning combo! In the early game, you are mostly trying to setup your board and get a few food tokens with cards like Many Partings, Tough Cookie but also interact with the opponent with Orcish Bowmasters.

When you get a few of these game objects, you can start trying to get your combo going and that include Experimental Confectioner and Peregrin Took. When you got both of these on the battlefield, all you need is 3 food tokens to sacrifice.

When you get that going you can then sacrifice them to Peregrin Took which will draw you a card and thanks to Experimental Confectioner you also get to create 3 1/1 rat tokens, which triggers Peregrin Took and lets you create 3 food tokens thanks to the creation of the rat tokens previously. Now you are in the same spot again, but with 3 rat tokens on top of it, repeat as much as you wish until you got enough card advantage and rat tokens to win the game!

If it becomes a problem to get your combo going you also got 4 copies of Beseech the Mirror to get you your combo pieces straight onto the battlefield, and 4 copies of The One Ring which will most likely draw you in more ways to get the combo online!

Second deck to cover is Standard Orzhov Tokens by Sac!

This deck combines the power of white to create a lot of game objects (mainly tokens) and black that has a lot of ways to use them efficiently! Lets start with the enablers that actually create these tokens that you can either win the game with or use them for some other advantages. They include cards like Hopeful Vigil, Wedding Announcement or Edgar, Charmed Groom.

Then you got the cards that use the tokens for more advantage and they include cards like Braids, Arisen Nightmare, Rite of Oblivion or Beseech the Mirror where all of the mare able to provide strong benefits when you use the above mentioned game objects as sacrifice fodder.

Of course on top of that, this deck also plays removal like Cut Down or Go for the throat, but it also plays some strong creatures like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse or Serra Paragon which even lets you cast some of the sacrificed cards from the graveyard again!

The second standard deck to look at is Sultai Cauldron Combo by disk3001!

Another combo deck but this time in standard and it aims to get infinite mana with Agatha's Soul Cauldron! Basically the whole deck is centered around getting your combo online, so you can win with it as fast as possible. The enablers that let you find the combo pieces include cards like Fallaji Archaeologist, Rona, Herald of Invasion and Kaito Shizuki where they all dig you deeper into your deck.

Lets get to the combo pieces that you need to win the game, the most important one is Agatha's Soul Cauldron which will let you put a counter and the abilities of Sleep-Cursed Faerie (which you need to have in the graveyard) on Kami of Whispered Hopes. Thanks to you putting the counter on it you now got a 3/3 Kami of Whispered Hopes which has the ability of Sleep-Cursed Faerie to untap for 2 mana and also the ability to add mana equal to its power which is 3.

Now you net 1 mana every time you tap it and use the ability to untap itself. Now all you need to do is cast Tyvar's Stand where X is greater than the opponents life total and swing with your flying Kami of Whispered Hopes to victory!

And the last deck to cover is Standard Azorius Midrange by Lino1HP!

This deck combines the power of white enchantments with the Azorius colors being able to control the board well to create a deck that grinds well while having an upper hand on the boardstate! Lets start with the control cards which this deck has a bunch of. They include counterspells like Make Disappear but also great removal spells like Ossification, The Wandering Emperor and Sunfall which can also get you a big finisher if cast at the right time.

With these you got the board under control, but you also need to close the game out and for that you got a few of your threats like Dennick, Pious Apprentice or Steel Seraph but also a lot of your enchantments like Wedding Announcement, Virtue of Loyalty and The Restoration of Eiganjo where all of them are able to get you a bunch of power in a single card. Thanks to these enchantments you are able to cast them once and let your board grow over time, while also using your removal and counterspells to clear the board from problematic cards!

And that’s all for today. This article has covered the last week of September, which means that the next weeks article will have the first decks that reached mythic in October so stay tuned for it!
