Through the Omenpaths Foundations – Midweek Magic Event Guide

Hey everyone! We have reached the middle of another week and we all know what that means. No, it certainly doesn’t have to do with that. You should see a doctor (besides me) about that. The second guess was much better because it is once again time for another Midweek Magic.

This week we are going to be playing Through the Omenpaths Foundations. You might be slightly confused as to what that is, but I’ve taken my best guess at it. I’ve made the assumption (and we all know about assumptions) that it is similar to the previous “block constructed” formats that we have gotten in previous Midweek Magics. In this case that would mean that the decks must be build entirely out of Through the Omenpaths and Foundations.

These events have typically been all access even without being listed as such. I can make no promises that this will continue, but that is why I didn’t make a budget deck.

You might notice some Spider-Man cards in the decklists, they will automatically transfer to OM1 when you export to Arena.

Of course, I could be total wrong about this and end up trying to redo this as soon as the event kicks off. I guess we’ll find out together.

Event Details

Bring a 60-card deck using only cards from Through the Omenpaths and Foundations.

• Duration: September 30th, 2025 @ 2:00 PM PST to October 2nd, 2025 @ 2:00 PM PST
• Format: Through the Omenpaths Foundations
• Entry Fee: Free
• Ends After: You can play as much as you like for the duration of the event.
• Match Structure: Best-of-one matches (BO1)

Red Burn

Yeah, you want to bash some face in and burn the whole place down before they can even get started. Typical MWM fodder.

Gruul Spiders

It wouldn’t be a (Temu) Spider-Man set without a spider deck. This satisfies your beatdown urges while staying on theme.

Flappy Beats

Who cares what is going on down on the ground when you’re living large up in the air. Get to stepping with your air forces ones all over their face.

Monoblack

Nice creatures. Would be a shame if someone killed them all while playing plenty of equally annoying cards.

Azorius Control

Another way to take advantage of a heavily creature themed format. At least you can still have fun.
