Top Mythic Standard and Historic Decks – March 2021 Ranked Season – Week 3

Blinkmoth Nexus

This week we see the competitive Magic: The Gathering scene focus back to Historic! We will find out whether the small amount of cards introduced in Historic Anthology 4 will make a difference to the Uro-less metagame, or old strategies with powerful cards will prevail again. At the moment, it looks like the sacrifice strategies are dominating the format as they suppress creature-based archetypes, with control decks looking to counter it and play the longer game. Check out some of the new decks this week, and how they adapted!

This week we also have some interesting events live on MTG Arena, if you want to play something a bit different. We also have an update to the website coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

This is our weekly column, and if you have decks you want to be featured in the next edition tweet us at @mtgazone or give us a shout at our Discord.
