GENERAL

GAMEPLAY

• You can now group select blockers for creatures with Menace.
  • . . . Yes, we know this is one of the most obvious times to want to group select blockers.
  • Yes, we were frustrated too.
• The loop detector is now better at discerning when a loop is actually going somewhere and what the final game state will be.
  • Say your opponent has 100 life and you have a very s l o w Vito/Exquisite Blood combo ticking away. You’ll be able to get there!
• Mousing over either player’s hand/graveyard/exile to display zone counts now displays the counts for both players.
  • Now you can check who is winning the mill race without moving your mouse!
• We’ve tweaked the way we display text so cards are much less likely to overflow the type line, or require you to scroll.
  • Obviously if you add a ton of text via enchantments, mutate, etc. you’ll scroll as normal.
• Replacement effects that are going to move a card to another zone (battlefield, exile, etc.) are now weighted to, by default, come earlier than other replacement effects.
• Cards with a “must be blocked” annotation that only applies “this combat” now get a hanger just like cards that “must be blocked” forever.
• Ability text on the stack now only changes color if there are two distinct abilities with distinct targets.
• Mana icons in card text and back-side hint boxes are now bottom aligned. (We think this looks nicer, personally.)
• We’ve added confirmation for discarding, even when you select the max number of cards.

CARDS

• Demonic Pact now has a checklist hanger showing which modes have been selected.
• The prompt displayed when an opponent’s Honden of Night's Reach activates now lists the number of cards to discard.

DECKS AND COLLECTION

• When you disconnect or unexpectedly exit while building a deck, you can return to the deckbuilder to resume your progress where you left off.

BUG FIXES

Note: Response emotes (Oops/Sorry, Nice/Thanks) are temporarily disabled. They will return soon!

• There is now a server-side throttle on hover messages, which should prevent them from slowing down either player’s ability to respond.
• Dreadhorde Arcanist no longer allows playing the land side of an modal double-faced card (MDFC).
• “Favorite” decks will remain favorited after editing the deck.
• The Ashiok avatar from the FNM codes should now appear properly
• Nethroi’s mutate trigger can now target creatures with negative Power, which is a thing that can exist.
• Fixed a bug that could cause some browser buttons to become unresponsive after displaying a large amount of triggers.
• Kicked and non-kicked displays for Sea Gate Stormcaller triggered ability no longer stack in the display
• Fixed collision on the Amonkhet Remastered battlefield, which means click impacts and intention lines work properly again
