Hey everyone! Weโre still deep in the trenches of the hottest release in Magic history. Seriously have you seen the prices on collector boosters? Not to mention the creepy Pokรฉmon scalpers lining up at the stores to grab all of these cards too. Thatโs not a problem for us in the digital world of MTGA Arena though where we are free to buy as many cards as our credit cards (and significant others) will let us.
Enough on that and back to the reason you are all really here. Thatโs right, you just want your Midweek Magic deck lists so you can get back to laying the beats.
This week it is Cascade Brawl. Do you hear that? It sure sounds like a stampede of rhinos coming through because Crashing Footfalls is busted in this format. All you do is play a one drop (as long as your commanderโs color identity allows it) and you get to cast that (or another zero cost spell) to pull far ahead.
The usual cascade rules apply here. You donโt want reactive cards and you want to make sure you have some decent hits along the scale. Aggro is going to be king here. There really shouldnโt be many counter spells being played here (since they are dead if you hit them off a cascade) so cast away.

The first time you cast a spell each turn, youโll get to cast another, less expensive card from your library without paying its mana cost. What a bargain! All youโll need to play is aย 100-card Brawl deck. (excluding those on theย Brawl banned list)!

You might notice a trend of green commanders here. Thatโs because of Crashing Footfalls and Once Upon a Time (You can cast it for free on their turn to get a cascade trigger) which are both amazing with this emblem.
Everyoneโs favorite monkey sure does cause a lot of concessions. You know what makes a low to the ground aggro deck even better? When you get to cast an extra spell every turn for free.
We just played a similar version during the Brawl Builder Challenge, but Tifa should be able to knock some fools out here as well. It lets you take advantage of the Crashing Footfalls meme as well as stack an extra spell on the pile for going off.
Itโs not a full-on budget deck since it does have Crashing Footfalls and Bristly Bill as the commander. If you donโt have those, feel free to switch them out for another Slime Against Humanity and any random cheap green commander you already own.
