Dominaria United Commander (DMC) is a supplementary set to Dominaria United, to be released on September 9, 2022. It includes cards contained in the Dominaria United Commander Decks, as well as the Legends Retold box topper cards. In this guide, you’ll find all of the information we currently have available for Dominaria United Commander, including all of the cards that have been revealed so far.

Cards marked in the Dominaria United Commander (DMC) set are legal for eternal formats (Commander, Legacy, and Vintage) only. The cards will not be available for Historic in MTG Arena unless introduced via another future release (example: Hamza, Guardian of Arashin in Historic Anthology 4).
Dominaria United Commander Decks
There are two Dominaria United Commander Decks featuring new Planeswalker versions of two Dominaria characters from Modern Horizons 2:
- Legends’ Legacy: A red-white-black deck with Dihada, Binder of Wills
- Painbow: A five-color deck with Jared Carthalion
These decks each contain 10 Dominaria United Commander cards, the face card and another powerful legendary creature each in traditional foil, plus the foil-etched display commander. For the full decklist, check out its dedicated article:
Legends Retold
There will be 20 box toppers called Legends Retold, which reimagine the characters from the original Legends set, designed for Commander play. One traditional foil card from among 19 legendary creatures and one planeswalker.
Although these cards are not included in the Dominaria United Commander Decks, their expansions are denoted as DMC to show that they are legal for Commander, Legacy, and Vintage formats. For the full card list, check out its dedicated article:
