Final Fantasy Brawl Builder Challenge – Midweek Magic Event Guide

Hey everyone! It might feel a bit like Deja Vu, but I can assure you that this week’s Midweek Magic is very real. We don’t often get full on repeat events and we had this exact same MWM back in June. The addition of multiple sets has evolved the decks since then, but we are still working with the same restrictions.

If you haven’t figure it out yet, the second week of MWM flashbacks consists of Final Fantasy Brawl Builder Challenge. It is a normal brawl (formerly known as Historic Brawl) deck with the restriction of needing to choose a commander from the Final Fantasy set.

I know what you’re really here for so without further ado, we can get to your deck lists.

Event Details

Choose one of our Final Fantasy commanders and build a 100-card Brawl deck using any cards in MTG Arena (excluding those on the Brawl banned list)!

• Duration: December 16th, 2025 @ 2:00 PM PST to December 18th,2025 @ 2:00 PM PST
• Format: Final Fantasy Brawl Builder Challenge
• Entry Fee: Free
• Ends After: You can play as much as you like for the duration of the event.
• Match Structure: Best-of-one matches (BO1)
