Day 2 Metagame Breakdown

101 players made it to the second round of the tournament, with half of the decks going for the Oko decks with the more recent sacrifice variant that adds Cauldron Familiar, Witch’s Oven and Trail of Crumbs taking the top spot of the metagame.

Rakdos Knights, an aggressive Embercleave combo deck is showing strong performances after Willy Edel (Brazilian pro player and Hall of Famer) have popularized the deck from Mythic Championship VI. The other variety of decks are likely to be some of the top contenders of a new metagame if Oko was to be banned, and they are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
