Hey everyone! I’m sure you have all spent the last week having a radical time playing with all of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cards. I know I have been jamming an absurd number of drafts, but I have to take a break because it is that part of the week again. That’s right, it is once again time for another Midweek Magic. I guess I will take the time to write an article about it…
This week’s event is On the Edge with Foundations. That means we can build decks using cards from only the last three standard sets (TMT, Lorwyn Eclipsed, and Avatar) and Foundations. It gives us an opportunity to play some standard without a lot of the normal archetypes since they are all missing key cards.
Yeah, yeah…I’ll stop babbling and just post the freaking deck lists for you.
Event Details
Bring a 60-card deck using only cards from the last three standard sets and Foundations. With less sets to work with, you’ll need cutting-edge strategies to find victory!

Old reliable makes its usual appearance to provide a quick way through the event. Burn baby burn. This will quickly take advantage if your opponent stumbles or isn’t playing a focused deck.
This is missing a bunch of the key cards that make it busted in regular Standard, but the lesson package is still pretty strong. The main issue is that you have a lot less reach because you have to finish the game off with creatures.
This is another deck that is more geared towards having some fun than trying to Spike the event as hard as possible. This one is for you if you love to play a horde of elves and pump up the jams.
Nice creatures, it would be a shame if someone killed them all. Most people play quick creature decks in MWM, this is for those of you that prefer to make their lives miserable.
Apparently a lot of people prefer not to waste wild cards on Midweek Magic. The solution is to play a pile of Hare Apparent with a way to pump them. They may not get a discount for being cats, but the bunnies can still get their claws out to wreck your opponent.
