Introduction: Universes Beyond

Magic: The Gathering’s Universes Beyond series, first announced in August 2021, is a crossover collaboration between other franchises outside of Wizards of the Coast, featuring brand new cards or as a redesign of existing cards.

Players have already seen the likes of Godzilla and Dungeons & Dragons enter the realm of Magic (though not officially Universes Beyond), and so far we’ve seen cards from other IPs in official capacity such as Secret Lairs and Commander Decks:

There are a few more in the pipelines that we haven’t seen yet but was announced previously, such as cards from the world of Fortnite and Lord of the Rings.

IGN has revealed the contents of the two Secret Lair drops from the Fortnite crossover today, which will go on sale starting July 21 at 9 AM PT on the Secret Lair website and even teased a secret card in each set that has not been revealed yet! Here they are below.

The main drop features the following seven cards reskinned with Fortnite art and names, including the card text.

Secret Lair x Fortnite: Landmarks and Locations

The second drop features a set of five full-art basic lands – Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest, in the world of Fortnite.
