Universes Beyond: Spiderman spoilers March 1st

Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman in card form more specifically Magic: The Gathering form, coming September 26th, 2025 this universe beyond entry packs a punch.

Our hero in 3 mana converted mana cost:

Sensational Spider-Man

Pretty decent on attack ability that let’s you stun a possible blocker and even nullifying its possible tap or attack abilities and that’s not all if you decide to remove the stun counters you get to draw up to three cards, I am picturing this card heavily into brawl and commander play.

Venom, Deadly Devourer

Vigilance, Menace

and for 3 colorless no tap you get to pump up Venom with the graveyards creatures, this might see a lot of play with surveil cards or self mill.

Doc Ock, Evil Inventor

7 CMC 8/8 Dock Ock creature able to bring alive non-creature artifacts, Doctor Octavius in this form might be heavily useful with vehicle cards maximizing on attack effects and such, or maybe just a pesky map token turned 8/8.

Grasping Tentacles

This card power level is through the roof, under the right circumstances is able to revive Portal to Phyrexia on turn three from your opponents cards, with so many vehicles and artifacts tools heavily played at least in Standard format, this card has the chance to turn the tides easily.

Green Goblin, Nemesis

Flying 3/3 for 4 CMC, Spidey’s archnemsis comes with a discard mechanic that makes a Goblin creature bigger or create a tapped Treasure token, its kinda versatile towards your needs.

Pumpkin Bombs

a packing damage artifact, from its discard costs you might thing to be paired with the Green Goblin, Nemesis in order to maximize efforts and you still get 3 draws in.

Product Line Up

There’s still so much to expect from this set, from characters, events, tools and more, this year is heavily packed with Universe Beyond collaborations, and as for our favorite friendly neighborhood Spiderman, I am expecting a mono black Venom Spiderman, let’s wait and see, until the next one Code out!
