Table of Contents
Four-Color Walkers is essentially an Esper Control deck that splashes Red for Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. As the name suggests, it focuses on using Planeswalkers as threats (with the help of Interplanar Beacon) to snowball rather than using Doom Foretold. Bolun Zhang took this deck to a 3rd place finish in the first MagicFest Online Weekend Championship, which qualifies him to compete for the Season Finals coming up on April 11. NamEkianer92 also used the deck and his (very comprehensive) sideboard guide to be one of the first players to reach Mythic in the April ranked season!
The deck is a little bit soft to the aggressive decks as it takes a few turns to get going, but can have favorable matchups against the more slower decks present in the metagame. It also requires a good degree of sequencing and planning due to the number of options presented to you each turn. Give the deck a go if you want a bit of a challenge and want to try a non-meta deck.
