MTG Arena Releases Compensation Code "ExperimentalOverload" for Weekend Issues • MTG Arena Zone

Last week saw the popularity of the much anticipated Historic Brawl and the Arena Open events marred by technical issues and overall delays. Players ran into “Waiting for the Server” messages and sometimes even just a black screen while logging in, matchmaking and navigating the client.

We're aware the issues on Saturday may have limited your ability to play and make progress toward your quests and mastery pass, so enter code "ExperimentalOverload" to receive 2000 XP to help get you back on track.

As compensation, players are able to use the free code ExperimentalOverload to gain 2000 Mastery XP and level up your Strixhaven Mastery by two levels. For instructions on how to redeem this code and for more free stuff, check out our full guide:

Further to this, Wizards of the Coast are issuing refunds for players that were affected by this performance issues and unable to complete their run.

Due to @MTG_Arena performance issues that caused abnormal delays logging in, matchmaking, and navigation, we are returning the Arena Open entry for each player who was unable to complete their Open course.
