Looking to get your traitor on? For the next nine days, we have the awesome Sleeper Agents event to play! This is Singleton, but with a twist! At the beginning of your turn, one of the creatures in your hand awakens to become a Phyrexian, dealing two poison damage on top of their base damage!

Event Details
This pitiful world. So flawed, so painfully imperfect, but at least it is malleable. Easy to construct a shell. The shell is gruesome and inelegant, but no more so than those already here. They will not notice. Too concerned with individual things. They claim to be united, but they do not yet know of true unity. They do not yet know the Machine Orthodoxy. But they will.

- Entry Fee: 2,000 Gold or 400 Gems
- Ends After: 4 wins or 2 losses in Best-of-One matches

Sleeper Agents Emblem
“At the beginning of your upkeep, choose a creature card in your hand at random. It perpetually becomes a Phyrexian in addition to its other types. Whenever a Phyrexian you control deals combat damage to a player, that player gets two poison counters.”
- Perpetual: Perpetual effects and counters are not removed from cards that change zones.
- Poison Counter: A player with ten or more poison counters loses the game.

Sleeper Agents Decklists
Since the Sleeper Agents event heavily rewards playing creature decks, most of my recommendations are centered around creature decks, whether it’s playing them or countering them. To that end, the diversity for this event is going to be a bit lacking compared to other events.

If you want to make anyone playing a creature deck miserable, it’s hard to do better than Orzhov. All removal, card advantage, and good threats should make it very difficult for players to beat through all the advantage you’re accruing.

Going for a more control route to counter the aggressive-heavy event meta is also a good choice, with this deck offering somewhere in between. Creatures already with the Phyrexian type are also already at an advantage in this event, such as Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Evolved Sleeper, and Phyrexian Missionary!
