For the next day leading up to the release of Throne of Eldraine, a number of streamers will be showcasing MTG Arena with a stacked, unlimited account. While we are busy reviewing the new cards in Throne of Eldraine for our guides on the upcoming Play Any Deck and Win Every Card Challenge events, the talented deck builders and streamers are putting in work to test out the new limited and Standard format.
Let’s find out what our favorite players are brewing, and find out what the powerhouses of Throne of Eldraine are! This post will be kept up to date throughout the day as we find some interesting decks and ideas.
Wow what an awesome #sponsored stream, Eldraine is gonna be SO FUN.
Jam the two most powerful Planeswalkers in Standard (Teferi, Time Raveler and Narset, Parter of Veils) and Fires of Invention – what could go wrong? Nothing it seems!
These were the two decks that felt the best on the night (turn two oko is good, surprise!). The Bant deck having 8 mana dorks into 8 busted 3cc walkers is particularly sweet. The UG deck gets to play the busted Castle card for turn 3-4 Troll King. Also nice w/ Krasis. pic.twitter.com/KELz4aZTCv
Caleb Durward shares some of his insights during his time in the event.
Had a an amazing stream, love this event. Just wanted to thank Wizards again for allowing me to play in this event and everyone who watched and supported. THANK YOU! These were my two favorite decks. Happily Ever After and Fires of Invention! Back tomorrow with more brews! pic.twitter.com/wVh1a9Q5Cn
Happily Ever After is looking to be a fun win condition, enabled more easily by Planar Celebration.
And finally a The Royal Scions deck! I started with Arclight Phoenix at first but then I replaced them with Irencrag Pyromancer. Fling is nice with Crackling Drake, but maybe too cute. pic.twitter.com/GUXLRB1nYJ
Magic Pro League player Andrea Mengucci has some sweet builds for us, especially this Izzet one where he was most impressed with The Royal Scions over-performing. Irencrag Pyromancer is also seems incredibly powerful, almost like Arclight Phoenix.

I think Torbar is the future of red (writing about it this week), and built a deck accordingly. We lost one game with this deck and didn't come close to losing another. Robber of the Rich was incredibly underwhelming, but this isn't really the shell for him. 9/ pic.twitter.com/aTNnUBqV0T
@Em_TeeGee was able to test a lot of different decks for this event, more than 14 in fact. Torbran, Thane of Red Fell seemed to impress the most, acting as a great finisher in future Red decks.
Spent pretty much all day working on Feasting Troll king decks and this is where we are currently. Was playing Karn in the fae spot for a while, but a 1/4 is just good in the format and the backdoor outlet to cheat Troll in came up. Oko is broko @ArenaDecklistspic.twitter.com/tAR5iY5MPE
The Simic Food deck seems like a pretty fast linear deck that relies on Feasting Troll King and Witch’s Oven. Fae of Wishes is an interesting inclusion as it can fetch the pieces from the sideboard.
Thanks again to Wizards for the VIP account, had a lot of fun trying out the new cards. Here is the #MTGEldraine deck I enjoyed the most today. Didnt get to play Knights or Red with Torban but the acrhetypes looked strong. Played a bit with Izzet Phoenix which seemed good as too pic.twitter.com/uLR2yNxd2b
Wolves is a tribal possibility, with cards like Wicked Wolf impressing in play. Combined with Once Upon a Time, Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves and Nightpack Ambusher and the new Garru, Cursed Huntsman, the deck could get really interesting.
