Hey everyone! It’s set launch day here on Arena so I’m sure everybody is hyped up to draft the definitely not Spider-Man set that would still terrorize someone with arachnophobia. Of course, that’s not all that is going on since it is, once again, time for another Midweek Magic. This week we will be firing up some Brawl!
While there aren’t a ton of cards from Through the Omenpaths that are going to shake up a historic format, Arena Anthology 3 is another story with plenty of hits such as Chain Lightning and Exploration.
Of course, this is all assuming that by Brawl!, they mean good old fashioned Brawl. I’m assuming that exclamation mark signifies excitement and not some random variation they are surprising us with. Oh well, I guess we will find out together.
Yeah, yeah…I’ll get to the decks as soon as we get through some event info.
Event Details
Bring a 100-card Brawl deck using any cards in MTG Arena, led by your favorite legendary creature or planeswalker! (excluding those on the Brawl banned list)!

Ends After: You can play as much as you like for the duration of the event.
This is always the go to commander for these events. It is lethal to anyone trying to durdle around and hard punishes even the slightest stumble. I always recommend this if you’re in a hurry because plenty of people scoop to this before the game even starts.
Another way to quickly end the game before they get the opportunity to setup. It’s very much “Do you have an answer or are we done here?” type of situation. Often times that answer isn’t good enough due to the variety of Snakeskin Veil cards you’re packing.
