Wizards of the Coast and the Magic: The Gathering community is set to raise money again via the Extra Life charity benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital. This year there are more ways than ever before for players to donate and contribute to this cause. Find out more information regarding this year’s campaign on the official Magic: The Gathering Extra Life page.
For this event, players get one extra life and creatures get one extra toughness via the Extra Life Emblem:
Remember that this means your Lovestruck Beast would be almost impossible to attack with!
Extra Life MTG Arena Sleeves
There are five different My Little Pony and Extra Life sleeves that you can purchase from the in-game store for $3.99 USD each, and their proceeds also contribute towards to the charity. They are available for a limited time between October 28 and November 4!
Content Creator Campaign
There will be a “competition” between Magic: The Gathering streamers and content creators to see whose community can raise the most for the Extra Life Magic Team. The top eight teams at the end of the event will receive in-game MTG Arena codes distributed evenly among all team members to give out to their community as they see fit for an Inspiring Veteran card style.
Extra Life Decklists
Here are three fun casual decklists you can use for the event! Since you only really need one win, of course any deck would probably suffice but here we have some build-around strategies MTG players generally enjoy in a non-competitive setting. If you have some spare cards you aren’t using, then gives these a whirl! Otherwise, browse our Standard deck section.
Wrapping Up
We have the Festival of the Fae Standard Artisan event also coming up soon, so keep an eye out for our usual guide and decklists for the event that will you grab those sweet Showcase Card Styles.
